Gerda’s table offers our Food and Wine Taste Experience also as a roving table.

This enables us to make use of the spectacular scenery where we are situated

Stunning locations becomes a backdrop for our events to create an awesome celebration for our guests. The West Coast has pristine beaches, extraordinary sea views and breath taking sunsets. A pop-up event consists of a 4- course culinary long table delectable dinner or lunch. It is a fine Food and Wine Tasting Experience as each dish is paired to an award winning South African wine chosen by Gerda as Cape Wine Master. The food and wine pairing courses are presented with great charm such that diners can relax, engage, and be enlightened while having a fabulous time.

The style of the food is chosen to perfectly match the wines and enhance the gastronomic experience which can be either Mediterranean, French Bistro, Italian and Gourmet South African incorporating the fresh seafood from the West Coast (line fish, oysters and mussels), the Cape Malay style of cooking with spices or a traditional South African barbeque from locally sourced fresh seafood, artisan meat and cheese and presented beautifully and stylish.
